Sales!!

This past weekend Vera Bradley.com had Viva La Vera, Boysenberry and Lemon Parfait on sale for 60% OFF!!  They also had a few specials, like the ribbon boards for $19.99, wristlets for $14.99 and Lizzy for $24.99.  These were amazing prices, and I know plenty of ladies that took advantage of these rare prices.  With Christmas coming up my mom stocked up on a few items, including my new laptop backpack in Viva La Vera!! (This wait is going to kill me!!)

Can you believe these prices?

I also ordered an old Saddle Up in Boysenberry for myself, and with my friend's $20 off coupon, I only paid $16 including shipping!!  Look for the review coming soon!!

Did you pick up anything on sale?  Let us know!!

  1. Good deals! I hope you like the Saddle Up (older style) as much as I'm enjoying mine :>. Argh, the Ribbon Boards, after I bought one of course, were down to $19.99...and the Lemon Parfait Turn Lock Wallet was 60% instead of 50% off. However, I got all the Happy Snails and Blue Lagoon stuff that I wanted at the same time with those orders.

  2. Ohh, I did pick up a Miller bag in Happy Snails this week-end. I had a $10 off birthday credit, and it was also 50% off at that particular store. It was a steal!!

  3. I went through ebates they had a deal $25 off your purchase of $100 or more! So I ordered the Va Va Bloom On the Go (I've been dying to get something in this pattern), Address Book in Boysenberry, Tablet Sleeve in Boysenberry & Kiss and Make Up Cosmetic in Lemon Parfait.

With free shipping and $25 off I paid $83 (including tax)!!! Not bad since the On the Go is $70. For $13 more I got 3 items!

  4. Molly-I want another Ribbon board so bad, but I always miss the sale!! I'm going to put my $20 aside so it will be ready next time, lol. I have the same Miller bag!! I'm finding that when I get something in a tote, I want the same print in a smaller bag, and vice versa.

Tracy-My mom used that $25 off!! You are going to love your new On the Go. I can't wait to hear from you after you use it. You got a bunch of good other stuff.

    1. I'm rushing home from work everyday wondering if my package is there! Nothing better then a box from VB :)

I actually bought an On the Go in Ribbons the day they were giving the free Ribbons coin purse earlier this month. I've stayed away from this style because I had it in Java Blue long ago but the strap wasn't long enough to wear crossbody at the length I like it.

I'm thrilled with the updates on this bag and now it's one of my favorite styles!

    2. I started getting my packages delivered at work for that very reason. So glad you like the new on the go!!

  5. I bought the ribbon board in Tea Garden for my daughter for Christmas. I also bought the on that note for my Aunt for Christmas in Boysenberry and the hatbox cosmetic in Boysenberry. I really wanted the small duffel in Boysenberry but it seems to be sold out.

  6. Yeah, I kind of wanted to get another Ribbon Board, as I saw them online when they were on sale. However, I feel like I've had enough online orders recently and always feel the need to buy enough items to get the free shipping :>. Plus, I don't really have room for another one at my desk at work and not really sure where I would put one in my house. Haha, I think I did see the Happy Snails Miller bag in one of your previous posts. I agree, I have a Hipster, amongst other things, in that pattern, and now my "collection" of Happy Snails seems complete. Now I want something else in Paisley Meets Plaid, since I have that print in the weekender. I'm kind of thinking of the Three-O Tote. Have you heard anything about it?

  7. Molly - I don't own the Three-O Tote but it is something I will debate on if I decide to pick up a tote - debate between that and the Vera tote. I like that the Three-O tote has the zipper closure whereas the Vera has the toggle but the size is smaller than the Vera (which could be better depending on your use). I really wish there was a tote in between the two (size wise) but with a zipper closure. Instead of buying the tote, I bought a Miller bag in the Twirly Birds Navy print. That is a BIG bag but it will be great for travel. I did get the Vera in Happy Snails and returned it. The print was too overwhelming in that size for me. I have a Mandy bag in the Happy Snails print that I'm actually thinking of returning. I really liked the print at first but now, not so much. I think I just like it in the smaller accessory type items. I have the kisslock wallet, Kindle cover, Tune In, umbrella, and keychain in Happy Snails. What bag would work with this print (even somewhat) that's not retired if I decide to return that Mandy bag? I'm thinking either something in ribbons or summer cottage but I don't know.

  8. Thanks for the reply!! That is funny, I used to not really be a fan of Happy Snails until recently. It is a big pattern, and somehow I like it a lot more on the Miller bag than the Weekender. I also really preferred Paisley Meets Plaid in the Weekender over the Messenger bag. It is really strange how that works for me, it is not even that I like certain patterns in a smaller or larger bag. Somehow it seems more complex! I agree, I wish the Vera had a zipper and I didn't purchase it in Happy Snails for that reason as well. I think the Mandy is cute in the following prints that aren't retired: Ellie Blue, Indigo Pop, and Floral Nightingale. It is all personal preference, though, as I can't see myself buying something in Ribbons or Summer Cottage for myself.

  9. Bummer about the small duffel. I actually picked it up in Boysenberry when everything was 40% off and I love it! I have seriously carried it every weekend since I got it. (I stay over at my parent's house a lot, lol.) I would recommend picking one up, and if you're waiting for a sale there will be a big one after Christmas.

Molly-I've been debating on the Three O Tote for awhile now, and there's just something about it that always makes me leave it at the store. It is rather small, but I think it's the shape that turns me off.

The Vera tote does not have a zipper, and I love my zippers, but the Vera tote is a great bag. Y'all might want to look into the new Glenna, because it seems to be bigger and it has a zipper!!

  10. The Glenna looks cute! I'm not sure about the newer winter colors..will have to see them in person.

  11. Thanks - I'll have to check out the Three-O Tote in the stores. It seems to have gotten pretty good youtube reviews.

  12. I love love love my Boysenberry Saddle Up! I have the old Saddle Up in four patterns because I love it so much - have yet to try the updated version. Enjoy!!!

  13. Molly-Does the Glenna look like the Pleated tote to you?

MK-I'm so excited. The pleats always turned me off in the past, but then I saw a lady with one at the Cookin' With Vera launch, and it was so cute on her. I'm excited to compare the 2 for ladies like yourself who have not tried the updated version.

  14. The Glenna looks similar to the Pleated tote - the features of it definitely seem comparable, so I'm really excited! Not sure about the cinching, so I can't wait for the November 2nd release date, not as much for the new colors as the new styles :>.

  15. And apparently the front of the Glenna has a huge pocket. I feel exactly the same way, more excited about styles than patterns. But for some reason I always end up with a million.

  16. Yeah, I know the feeling! I didn't think that I'd like Provencal and Paisley Meets Plaid from the pictures on the website, and already have 1 item in each color and will probably have some things in each color on my Christmas wishlist as well! Debating of picking three out of the four items: the Mailbag, On the Go, Three-O Tote, or Glenna.

  17. I want a mailbag!! I'm going to pink one up in Very Berry Paisley when it goes 40% off.
